About

Wherever you are in this process, I’ll meet you there.

It can feel really good to finally get help, and yet, it can still be hard to accept that you deserve it. I encourage you to come as you are - bring your anxiety, dark humor, skepticism, anger, hopelessness, and questions; we'll take a closer look together. With a collaborative and authentic approach, I'll both challenge you and honor your pace. I’m not a fixer, but I draw from evidence-based and trauma-informed care to help you help yourself. I specialize in relationships - the ones between you and the world, you and others, you and yourself, and even the one between you and me. Research has shown that the best predictor of positive outcomes in therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. With this at the center of our work, my hope is for you to feel safe, supported, and understood. We'll start by setting goals together: what would you like to get out of therapy? What would progress look and feel like? As treatment unfolds, we'll check in: Are you closer to your goals? Do we need to adapt to barriers or concerns? Tailoring interventions to your unique needs, I will challenge you to look closer at the good, the bad, and the vast in-between that arises from change and healing. As an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and Level I Gottman Method Couples Therapist, I have learned that healing relational trauma requires connection. The process of building and repairing those connections can start with one conversation. So let's talk! Schedule a complimentary phone consultation to see if I'm the right therapist for you.
